DC Heroes Return With Second Seasons On DVD
Anyone who follows DC Comics knows how popular the characters have become through their animated shows. The “Teen Titans” have made it through an astounding five seasons between the WB and Cartoon Network channels, and “The Batman” surprised many people by following closely on the heels of the popular “Batman: The Animated Series” with a different style and approach, but still maintaining popularity.
Both of these shows have made their Season One debuts on DVD and September 19th will see the return of both “Teen Titans” and “The Batman” with their Season Two releases.
In the “Teen Titans” second season the gang befriends Terra, a girl with strong powers but divided loyalties. Over the course of thirteen episodes the Titans face off with their old nemesis Slade with their new friend hanging in the balance.
The second season of “The Batman” saw the emergence of The Riddler as Batman’s major nemesis. That doesn’t mean his other foes, including the Joker, Penguin, and Mr. Freeze are out of action however.
Both sets feature thirteen episodes spread over two discs with bonus features that include a “Catch Up” in case you missed the respective Season One releases.
