The DVD Blend Picks Nothing This Week
Each week DVDs come out. Some of them are worth your time and money and some aren't. Some of them are movies I've seen, and some of them aren’t. Regardless, I give you my opinion on the big releases of the week. If the releases sound like something you want to buy, just click the link to go to Amazon.com and you’ll support Cinema Blend with a few pennies. Take it or leave it, here's the DVD Blend.
Cinema Blend Pick of the Week: |
No “Pick of The Week” This WeekThe doldrum month of July carries on with another weak week for DVD releases. Instead of recommending this week’s mediocre releases, we suggest you go back and check out Black Snake Moan, Pride or one of the other recommendations from weeks past. Hopefully next week will be better. |
Worth mentioning: | |||
Row 1 - Cell 0 | The Astronaut Farmer - Here’s a movie that gives you exactly what the title states. It’s a farmer who wants to be an astronaut. It’s a little silly. It’s a lot sappy. But what else can you expect from a movie that promotes the strength of a family all following a dream. | Row 1 - Cell 2 | The Last Mimzy - It’s a week for mediocre family friendly movies involving space apparently. Here’s one about a less stable family where only the kids believe – but what a thing to believe in. Two kids find strange artifacts that may lead to the future survival of two planets. |
