Doomsday Brings The End Of The World To DVD And Blu-Ray
I find myself in a curious situation this year. Doomsday is the worst film I’ve seen this year, mostly because it was a disappointment with a lot of potential that it didn’t live up to. Typically, the worst film I’ve seen is a movie I never want to see again, but I’m kind of curious about the upcoming DVD release for Doomsday. Not that I really want to see the movie again, but the DVD has enough bonus material to make me want to see what was planned and try to deduce where things went wrong.
Universal is releasing Doomsday in an unrated DVD as well as a Blu-ray edition of the movie. For those who don’t want the extra blood and gore that might be in the unrated edition, the theatrical cut is included. Since this was already a movie that kind of pushed the envelope, I’m curious to see what would make it unrated.
