I’m not a huge fan of Asian import movies. I like most of the movies I’ve seen, mostly mainstream releases like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or Hero, but they aren’t the kind of thing I’ve gone out of my way to see.
For those who do enjoy Asian cinema, Dragon Dynasty appears to be importing movies the right way. They just released a pretty stocked two-disc edition of Ziyi Zhang’s Legend of the Black Scorpion on Tuesday, and they have two-disc versions announced for Flash Point (April 24th), which I have heard of, and PTU: Police Tactical Unit (March 25th), which I haven’t.
