The ER Comes To iTunes
This year marked the end of an era, as the long running medical drama ER aired its last episode. For some odd reason, the last season of the show drew my attention, which is particularly interesting since none of the other fourteen seasons managed to do that. I tuned in to most of the final episodes, even though I didn’t have the context of the show’s long history to allow me to enjoy the return of a lot of the series’ notable characters.
If you’re like me, or if you just liked the show, you can now return to all of the old episodes through iTunes. Starting last Friday, April 3rd, the entire fifteen season run of the show is available on Apple’s online store, in high definition. This is the first time the last three seasons of the series have been available at all.
While I don’t see myself downloading fifteen years of ER all at once, it’s good to know I can easily backtrack and start watching the shows from the beginning without having to run out to the store for a late night purchase should a marathon viewing end at the wrong time.
For your convenience, here’s a link to ER on iTunes.
