Get More Moose And Squirrel On DVD
The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show is one of those perfect examples of why I love DVD. The series has kept me in stitches for years, but when you’re only catching an episode every week or so on Sunday afternoon it’s hard for there to be any kind of continuity. Thanks to DVD we get to see the episodes in their original order, including storylines that might carry over.
It’s been several years since the first set came out, but now the second volume of The Best of Rocky and Bullwinkle is heading for DVD. The set is slated for a September 18th release date with 28 new-to-DVD episodes. The set appears to be carrying a “Wossamotta U” theme (you know, Bullwinkle J. Moose’s alma mater), at least on the outside.
More specific details about the set are limited, but at least we know more Rocky and Bullwinkle fun is coming to DVD and that’s enough for me. My volume one set has been massively overplayed and it’s time to put some new episodes into rotation.
Take a look at the cover art from Volume One, as well as some stills that have been sent over to promote the release, and don’t forget to pick up The Best of Rocky and Bullwinkle: Volume 2 on September 18th.
