Get Ready For An Unrated Storm Warning In February
As far as horror movie plot devices go, Storm Warning appears to have it all: harsh storms, isolated islands, abandoned farms, and deranged killers. The movie has even won acclaim for its effects and score (from the L.A. Screamfest). We just need some sort of supernatural threat to up the ante a bit, and just about everything that can be crammed into one movie would be there.
Directed by Jamie Blanks (Urban Legend, Valentine), the movie is about a married couple who get caught in a bad storm while boating and find themselves trapped on a seemingly-deserted island. Instead it turns out the previously abandoned refuge is actually inhabited by sadistic killers who have plans for their new houseguests. The picture stars Robert Taylor (Ned Kelly), Mathew Wilkinson (Ghost Rider) and Nadia Fares (War).
An unrated version of Storm Warning is coming to DVD on February 5th from Dimension Extreme. The release features an extended cut of the movie, as well as a commentary track by director Jamie Blanks, writer Everett DeRoche, actor Robert Taylor, cinematographer Karl Von Moller and special FX artist Justin Dix
