Get Your Bratz The Movie In November
Despite the fact that it’s already come and gone from theaters, the idea of Bratz: The Movie terrifies me. At least the movie made an effort to improve the image of the Bratz girls. Where the dolls have been criticized for thongs and inappropriate dress, the movie emphasized “tasteful” fashion (whatever that is) and the value of friendship over cliques.
If you missed the movie in theaters, now it’s coming to DVD. Lionsgate has announced a November 27th release date for the DVD. That means it could be a good holiday gift idea, although if your child really is a Brat they probably will have the movie long before gifts get opened.
The bonus materials for the DVD look like exactly what you’d expect for a release like this, with deleted scenes, music videos, and, of course, a look at fashion. Take a look at what has been announced and check out Bratz: The Movie on DVD November 27th.
