Hannah Montana Keeps Her Secret For A 5th Time on DVD
Forget just having the best of both worlds, soon Hannah Montana will have the best of three worlds; that is the television, DVD, and film worlds. The hit Disney show has been on the air for three seasons, which led to the Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert and four volumes of the show being released on DVD. The half pop star, half girl next door shows no signs of slowing down, because not only does Hannah Montana: The Movie hit theaters on April 10th, but Hannah Montana: Keeping it Real (Vol. 5) will be available in stores March 31st.
This may be more Miley than most of us can handle, but if you’re over the age of 15, you don’t count anyway. The show has been a monumental hit among younger audiences and in some cases, adult audiences as well. When you have a lovable quirky girl like Miley Stewart (played by Miley Cyrus) just trying to have a normal life while secretly performing to sold out arenas as Hannah Montana, you’re bound to get hooked. The show has the perfect balance of relatable elements and the fantastically unlikely.
There’s no point to me explaining the success of the show considering it couldn’t be more obvious. Any Miley fan would love to get a copy of Hannah Montana: Keeping it Real (Vol. 5). The DVD comes with five episodes from the show, which includes appearances by Corbin Bleu and Dwayne Johnson. Five episodes can only keep the kids busy for so long. Good thing there’s also a bonus episode called “Ready, Set, Don’t Drive” and a behind-the-scenes featurette called “Miley’s Makeover: Hannah Gets a New Look.”
I’m going to pass on this DVD. Even though it’s only $19.99, I just can’t bring myself to succumb to the Miley craze and watch the show. But, I do have to admit; a part of me wants to see the movie.
