Jane And Arthur Go Blu
Buena Vista Home Entertainment has announced two more titles being added to their Blu-Ray lineup: G.I. Jane and the director’s cut of King Arthur. Both pictures will feature high detail 1080p resolution for amazing picture clarity.
Unfortunately, both releases continue the trend of showing the shortcomings of the next generation video format. BV’s announcement for G.I. Jane mentions no bonus materials and the release for King Arthur specifically points out the extras as those available on the standard edition DVD. Blu-Ray may look impressive, but it’s got to bring more than a standard DVD if the format is going to stick around.
Both G.I. Jane and King Arthur will be released on Blu-Ray on April 3rd.
