Jet Li’s Fearless has been announced as being Jet Li’s final martial arts film. While I still don’t buy it (especially with the continual rumor of a joint picture between Li and Jackie Chan) I am interested in picking it up on DVD, especially with a newly announced unrated edition featuring even more fight scenes not originally shown in theaters.
Universal has announced a December 19th release date for Jet Li’s Fearless. The single disc release will feature both the original, theatrical version of the film as well as an unrated edition (don’t get too excited – that unrated version is only one minute longer in running time).
Jet Li’s Fearless tells the story of a man who must combat the most ferocious fighters in the world on a path to redemption after his reputation is damaged. As mentioned, the film is said to be Li’s final martial arts movie and features battles orchestrated by Yuen Wo Ping.
