MPI Home Video Is Taking You In The Loop January 12th On DVD
In the Loop earned plenty of good buzz this past summer, currently sitting at 95% fresh over on Rotten Tomatoes. Aside from deft political satire, it supposedly also features some of the most acrobatically profane dialogue this side of Deadwood. With a limited release in the middle of summer tentpole season, however, the movie flew under the radar for a lot of us. Thankfully, you'll get another chance to find out if Al Swearengen would approve when In the Loop hits DVD January 12th.
In the Loop follows the chaos that ensues after a British government minister's slip of the tongue inadvertently throws England into support of a U.S. war in the Middle East. Damage control and spin doctoring commence on all fronts, with both British and American officials trying to work the snafu for their advantage. The DVD will include a behind-the-scenes featurette, deleted scenes, TV spots, and trailers.
