Meet The Robinsons In October

I’m really glad to see Disney speeding up their process of moving animated films from theaters to DVD. It probably helps that the last few pictures they’ve done have been computer animated, making them easier to move from digital format to digital format. Although it was only in theaters earlier this year, October 23rd will be your chance to Meet the Robinsons

Based on the book “A Day with Wilbur Robinson,” Meet the Robinsons follows an eccentric family of the future, including young Wilbur Robinson who wants to travel through time to find a better family. Soon Wilbur discovers that the actual future of time is in his hands and he needs his real family’s help to save it. The acclaimed animated film features the voices of Wesley Singerman (“7th Heaven”), Laurie Metcalf, Angela Bassett, Adam West, and Tom Selleck.

Meet the Robinsons is coming home on DVD and Blu-ray disc on October 23rd. Both versions are heavily loaded, with Blu-ray having a bit more than the DVD as you might expect. Here are the announced extras and a look at the cover art:
