Norm MacDonald: Me Doing Stand-Up Gets Self-Explanatory Release
Norm MacDonald is having a good year. Fresh off the announcement that MacDonald will be hosting Sports Show With Norm MacDonald on Comedy Central, Paramount Home Entertainment has announced a brand new stand-up DVD called Norm MacDonald: Me Doing Stand-Up.
The special, which initially premiered on Comedy Central on March 26th, will be hitting DVD on June 14th. In addition to the stand-up itself -- which Paramount is promising includes everything from Tiger Woods sports references to cheating death, with a few OJ Simpson jokes in between -- the disc will come with three extras. The first is the Back to Norm pilot, which was created in 2005 and also features Rob Schneider. The second is a “Twelve Days of Christmas” animated feature, and the third is Norm’s performance at The Roast of Bob Saget.
I don’t know much about Norm, but I do know he’s one of the few people capable of making OJ jokes without seeming obvious. That’s a talent in its own right, and certainly worth it for a suggested price of $16.99.
