Prison Break Is Out Again
You’d think after the final season of Prison Break was released on DVD, Twentieth Century Fox would have no choice but to lock up the show and throw away the key. Think again. Your Prison Break collection will not be complete until Prison Break: The Final Break hits store on July 21st.
Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) may think he’s safe from the federal government and free to live a normal life, but they’re determined to take him down. Because they can’t go straight for Michael, they go for the woman he loves and throw into a high security women’s prison. Michael is forced to team up with some his deadliest enemies in order break Sara (Sarah Wayne) out of jail. He’s done it before, but can he do it again?
I may not have loved Prison Break as much as most people, but anyone can till this movie is just a way to pull in some extra cash. We’ve seen hours of explosive action and numerous breakouts; why would we need more? Fox didn’t even combine the film with any bonus material. Well, there are some deleted scenes, but those aren’t as exciting as a behind-the-scenes featurette or a making of the movie piece. Maybe they’re saving all the goodies for a complete collectors set.
Don’t spend the $29.99 on the BD or the $26.98 on the DVD of The Final Break. If you love the show that much, you should just save your cash until Fox releases the entire series.
