Wish you could travel back in time to the point at which people were still enthralled by FlashForward? On February 23rd Buena Vista Home Entertainment will give you that chance by releasing FlashForward Volume 1 on DVD.
On April 29th, 2009, the entire world blacked out. After two minutes and 17 seconds, everyone came to and tried to sort through the destruction and figure out what the heck just happened. Turns out, everyone saw a premonition of what they’d be doing exactly one year from the time of the blackout. This leaves some filled with hope, some with fear, and others with nothing.
When FlashForward premiered, I was hooked. I don’t quite know what happened, but after a few episodes I became detached and uninterested, and so did quite a few other fans. Is this mad scramble to make the show available on DVD ABC’s attempt at changing the future and salvaging FlashForward? Could a quick rewatching be just what we need to get back into the series before its return in March of 2010? There was no worldwide blackout in March of 2009, so nobody knows, but for just $29.99, I might give it a shot.
