See What The Soul Really Looks Like In Cold Souls
Imagine you had the ability to ditch the burdens of your soul and roam the world as a free spirit. If this sounds too good to be true, it’s because it is. Watch Paul Giamatti come to that exact realization when Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment releases Cold Souls on DVD March 2nd.
Giamatti plays Paul Giamatti, an American actor living in New York City. When troubles at work consume his life, he opts to undergo a procedure called soul extraction. The process leaves him feeling lighter, but doesn’t help him get into character. Paul gives another person’s soul a test drive, a poet’s, but that doesn’t do the trick either. Rather than attempting another go-around, Paul decides just to get his own soul back. The problem is, his soul was hijacked and is circulating in the Russian soul black market.
Cold Souls is certainly not for everybody, but for those who can appreciate an eerie concept infused with dark humor, this could be a good buy. The price tag is rather low, so even if you’re skeptical, Cold Souls is worth the risk. For just $19.98 you get the film as well as a "Soul Extractor" slide show featurette and nine deleted scenes.
