The press announcement we got for Semi-Pro the other day left out some important information – namely that the movie would be available in separate single and 2-disc DVD editions (as well as that announced Blu-ray release) when it comes out on June 3rd. I’m not sure how much of the announced extras will come on the single disc as opposed to the 2-disc version, but I do know the two editions will have separate artwork, as you can see in the image gallery below.
Keeping with the “2-disc editions have to have cool title” mentality, the special edition release is titled the “Let’s Get Sweaty” edition. I didn’t see Semi-Pro in theaters, but I have to imagine there were better options for a special title. Even the name of Will Ferrell’s song, “Love Me Sexy” would have been more appealing.
