Six Clips From The Dark Knight Blu-Ray Extras
There are two kinds of excitement over the Blu-Ray release of The Dark Knight, coming December 9. First there's the simple pleasure of seeing the movie again, in as crisp a format as possible, on your home theater. And then there's the extras-- glorious, glorious extras that offer so many new ways to learn about one of the most fascinating movies of the year.
Our lucky Italian friends at Bad Taste, have gotten a look at some of those extras ahead of time, and posted clips-- in English-- of some choice selections. See how some of the movie's most spectacular stunts were executed, including the 18-wheeler flip and Batman's jump off the Hong Kong skyscraper, and get behind the meaning behind the movie's music and Batman's relationships. They've collected all kinds of random experts to talk, from a psychology professor to a motorcycle journalist, and of course, director Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale are included in the clips they posted.
Even though The Dark Knight is apparently one of the most illegally downloaded movies of the year, I can see tons and tons of people shelling out for this DVD, especially with extras this promising. Check them out at Bad Taste, and try to imagine the amazing stuff they weren't even able to fit in.
