Supernatural's Second Season Rumored For A Blu-Ray Upgrade Next Year
Supernatural suffered the same fate as many long-running modern series: it arrived just a bit too soon to jump on the Blu-ray bandwagon from the get-go. Starting with the third season's 2008 release, the seasons have been available on both Blu-ray and DVD, but that left fans stuck with the first two sets in standard definition. Thankfully, the freshman year finally got upgraded with a Blu-ray release this past summer, but so far we haven't had any word on when the second season would get the inevitable high-def makeover...until now.
The always helpful folks over at TVShowsOnDVD.com made a few calls to Warner Home Video and learned that the second season of Supernatural is tentatively slated to come out sometime during the first half of 2011. Sure, that leaves a lot of wiggle room, but it's better than nothing, don't ya think? We'll let you know once we hear more specific details.
