Country musician Toby Keith took a break from shoving the American flag toward the Dixie Chicks this year to star in his first film, Broken Bridges with Kelly Preston. In it Keith plays a music star (big stretch) who returns to his hometown after a death in the family, where he is reunited with his high school sweetheart (Preston) and introduced for the first time to his sixteen year old daughter. The film also stars Burt Reynolds, Katie Finneran, Tess Harper, and Anna Maria Horsford.
Paramount Home Entertainment has announced Broken Bridges will be available on DVD for the first time on January 9th. The announced extras include:
- Widescreen Format; Dolby Digital English Stereo; 5.1 Surround and closed-captioned for the hearing impaired
