Zombie Strippers Raised From The Dead Onto DVD
Forget the candy; thanks to Sony Pictures Home Entertainment you’ll be able to watch Jenna Jameson become a flesh-eating stripper for Halloween this year. Come Tuesday, October 28th, you can pick up Zombie Strippers on DVD or Blu-ray.
Strippers, comedy and gore; what more could a guy ask for? Jay Lee brings you the story of a government-created chemo-virus designed to re-animate the dead tissue of fallen soldiers and reactivate their brains. The experiment takes a turn for the worst and a special force is called to eradicate the zombies. Little do they know a stray infected solider escapes and takes refuge in a small Nebraska strip-club. The lead stripper, Kat (Jameson), is the first to be infected making her a “Super Zombie Stripper.” Now, her colleagues must decide for themselves whether or not to succumb to the virus and become Super Zombie Strippers themselves.
I have a feeling I am not in the target audience this movie was designed for. But, I must admit, I know tons of guys who would love to celebrate Halloween with this one. The special features will only add to the testosterone excitement. The DVD and Blu-ray versions boast commentary with the director and cast, deleted scenes and two featurettes; “The Champagne Room: Behind the Scenes of Zombie Strippers” and “The Dressing Room: How to Glam a Zombie.” And if you guys can manages to take Madden out of your Play Station 3, you can have access to the Blu-ray exclusive BD Live feature which lets you download even more content and some previews.
Yes, Zombies are scary. But the most frightening part about this flick is certainly the fact that it relies on the premise that President Bush is elected for a fourth term. Oh yeah, and Arnold Schwarzenegger is his vice president. Now that’s horror.
