The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Trailer Is Exciting And Fun
The Lego Group and TT Games, along with Marvel Entertainment, released the full trailer reveal for the upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. Originally we had a small teaser sampling with a bit of Groot, but this time we get a heck of a lot more heroes in the fun and exciting new trailer.
The first 13 seconds or so contain the same teaser footage that TT Games released previously, with Baby Groot running through a gauntlet of hail fire while explosions go off around him. After he gets blasted out of the screen we then get to see another member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Rocket Raccoon. He races through -- and toward -- gunfire while explaining that they're on Chronopolis, a sort of nexus for the multi-verse where things pop in and out of space and time from all over the place.
It's a neat setup for how they plan to bring all the Marvel characters together into a single experience in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2.
But Rocket doesn't stop to talk for long. The mouthy rodent continues dodging laser fire while Baby Groot sits atop his shoulder, and he then lobs a grenade onto a table where Loki, Doctor Octopus and Seductress sit. They're obviously dipping into the well of some of Marvel's lesser used heroes and villains.
Mind you, all of this manages to take place within the trailer in under 30 seconds.
The segment involving Rocket and Groot ends with them facing off against a giant planet with a face on it, prompting Rocket to quip about its creepiness.
The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 trailer then switches over to more familiar faces from the Spider-Man universe.

We see Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen swinging through the city before we get yet another look at Groot on the streets about to be stepped on before Star-Lord swoops in to save the day. Groot finally gets tossed under a ray that eventually makes him grow back to his original size, and he begins to wipe out enemies left and right.
The next scene for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sequel looks pretty cool, as it appears to take place in some medieval scenario where Captain America and World War Hulk are fighting off bad guys while they receive a bit of help from Gamora and Ant-Man. Hawkeye manages to blast Mysterio in the butt, we get to see Thor finally make his debut and then all the heroes assemble, including Ms. Marvel, Iron Man and Black Panther.
The trailer rounds out by letting gamers know that they can get their hands on LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 starting November 14th for the Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. It's also funny that they slipped in the box art for the Nintendo Switch version of the game, letting fans know that they'll be able to play the upcoming title either at home or on the go.
