Check Out The Cover Of WWE 2K18
2K Games, Yukes and Visual Concepts rolled out the official cover for this year's upcoming WWE2K18. The cover features one of the top stars on the Raw roster at the moment, who managed to fight, claw, and scratch his way up to the top of the card. That's right, I'm talking about The Architect, the Kingslayer, and former WWE champion, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins.
The cover was tweeted out just before Monday Night Raw by none other than Seth Rollins himself over on his official Twitter account.
The WWE 2K18 cover features the splash logo along with an image of Seth Rollins in his Architect gear. The theme for the game is "Be Like No One". It's a little disappointing that the marketing team didn't go with "Rebuild, Redesign, Reclaim".
Nevertheless, WWE for some reason decided to pull the trigger and place Rollins on the cover of the game's box despite the fact that he's not the top face of the company. Right now Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe and Finn Balor are all on a really hot streak right now. It seems kind of odd that Rollins made the cover when he would have been perfect for the cover in either 2015 or 2016, since he was basically headlining the pay-per-views and carrying the company on his back.
Anyway, Polygon is reporting that 2K Sports decided to go with Rollins and he will be on the cover of multiple iterations of the game that will launch on October 17th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. No mention was made of Xbox One X or PlayStation 4 Pro versions.
The other versions of the game includes the deluxe edition, which comes with the season pass packaged in along with additional bonus content. The collector's edition also comes with the season pass and additional content, but it also comes with a physical collectible that isn't quite detailed. Both the deluxe and collector's editions of the game offer gamers pre-order digital content bonuses, along with access to the game four days earlier than everyone else starting October 13th.
One of the big changes this time around is that the game will not be available on the Xbox 360 or PS3. This means that one would assume that Yukes and Visual Concepts are focusing on improving the overall quality on the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game.

In fact, this will be the first ever eighth-gen exclusive wrestling game in theWWE 2K series released by 2K Games.
So far we haven't actually seen any gameplay footage of WWE 2K18, but Visual Concepts always delivers on the graphics front so it's just a matter of whether or not Yukes was allowed to go all in on taking advantage of the PS4 and Xbox One's graphical capabilities to deliver a higher-end gaming experience.
The full game is scheduled to release for the general public starting October 17th, 2017 later this year during the fall.
