PlayStation Is Having A Massive Holiday Sale
Have some cash to spare for some extra games? Want to expand your library by a few more titles? Well, you're in luck because Sony wants you to buy up a bunch of cool titles for your PlayStation gaming devices, and there's a massive holiday sale going on right now that just might convince some gamers to take the plunge and buy a bunch of new games rather waiting for Christmas.
Over on the PlayStation Store, there's a listing for the Holiday Sale taking place for all things PlayStation. The sale offers discounts for up to 70% off on select titles, and the sale will run from December 12th up through December 18th.
There are more than 1200 games discounted across the PlayStation 3, the PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, and the PlayStation Vita. This includes a wide range of titles, including but not limited to Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto V and various DLC expansion packs for GTA Online, marked down by 50% off the normal purchasing price.
The God of War collection is also discounted by 75% off the normal price, so it's available for only $3.79, down from the $14.99 price point. You can also get God of War: Ascension and The Last of Us on PS3 for 50% off and 75% off the normal price.
Various other classic PS3 games like Little Big Planet 3 and the remaster of Metal Gear Solid also make the cut, with the latter being marked down to just $5.99. It's not just the classic Metal Gear games available for purchase, there's also the latest canonical entries that are discounted, too, such as The Phantom Pain and its accompanying DLC packs.
Quite a few of the Lara Croft and Tomb Raider games are also marked down, with prices slashed by up to 70% off, this includes the more recent entries in the series and the mobile outings like Lara Croft: Go. Other Square Enix titles like the Hitman series and Deus Ex are discounted as well, with the newest Hitman 2 being marked down by 50% off.
Even meme games like Goat Simulator and Goat Simulator: Goatz are on the list. Both games are 65% off, with the original Goat Simulator being available for $3.49 while the zombie version is available for only $1.74.
