Ubisoft revealed a third downloadable content pack for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood today. "The Da Vinci Disappearance" add-on will hit PSN and Xbox Live in early March.
"Da Vinci Disappearance" adds content to the single-player and multiplayer sides of the game. The single-player component takes place after the events of the main campaign. Leonardo Da Vinci has been kidnapped by a cult named the Hermeticists. Ezio's journey to rescue his friend will feature two new locations and ten Achievements/Trophies. There will also be two new features that weren't detailed yet.
On the multiplayer side, you can expect a new map called Alhambra. It's a multi-leveled map with a mixture of indoor and outdoor locations. Two new game modes are included as well. Escort mode will task two teams of four players with protecting their VIP or assassinating the other team's VIP. Assassinate mode is a ten minute deathmatch mode for 6-8 players. The more superficial gamers will be pleased to learn that Ubisoft is also adding four playable characters: Dama Rossa, the Knight, the Marquis and the Pariah.
Unlike the first two DLC packs, this one won't be free. It's priced at $9.99 (800 MS Points).
