Ubisoft announced Assassin's Creed Revelations today for a November release on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Revelations is the fourth installment in the series and the third to feature Italian assassin Ezio Auditore.
Yes, Ezio's back. This time, he'll be following the trail of his predecessor Altair. He'll eventually end up in Constantinople, the heart of the Ottoman Empire. A growing army of Templars is there too and threatens to send the region into chaos. The game is said to be the "final chapter in the Ezio trilogy."
The announcement only mentions a couple gameplay details. Like Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Revelation will feature online multiplayer. The assassin-vs-assassin action said to be refined and expanded, with more maps, characters and game modes. Also, the single-layer will let players "manipulate the construct of Desmond’s memories and the Animus to decipher the mysteries of his past and gain insight into the future." Sure, why not.
