Today Supergiant Games' action RPG Bastion became a bit more portable. The mobile version of the game, previously available on iPads, can now be purchased for iPhones and iPod Touch as well.
Bastion takes place in the aftermath of an apocalyptic event known as the Calamity. Kid, the game's protagonist, wakes up in one of the few remnants of the world. He sets off to discover the cause of this apocalypse. In the process, he'll try to rebuild the world as well.
Throughout the game, players will explore the broken world and fight monsters. After each level, they'll revisit their base (the titular Bastion) to upgrade their weapons or create new buildings there. After beating the campaign, you can replay it with New Game Plus mode and keep all of your previous experience and equipment.
The Bastion universal app can be downloaded for $5.49 at the App Store. Thanks to iCloud, you will be able to switch between different iOS devices while retaining your progress.
