Don't worry Battlefield 3 fans, you'll be getting the "Back to Karkand" expansion before the holiday season is over. Today DICE announced the exact dates it will arrive on all platforms.
"Karkand" will debut on the PS3 first on December 6th. It will then hit the Xbox 360 and PC on December 13th. The delay is due to an exclusivity agreement between EA and Sony.
The expansion offers up remakes of four maps from Battlefield 2: Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman, Wake Island and Sharqi Peninsula. Weapons and vehicles from BF2 are included in the pack as well. A new assignments feature will give you new challenges to work toward over multiple matches.
If you own the Limited Edition of BF3, you'll be able to download this content for free. Otherwise, you'll need to cough up $15, or 1200 MS Points.
