EA may reveal Battlefield 4 later this month. Invitations have been sent out to press suggesting that they're planning an announcement event during the Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco.
The invite, obtained by IGN and other outlets, doesn't explicitly mention Battlefield. However, it has the same grey-and-orange color palette as Battlefield 3's menus and box art. The font looks similar as well.
Battlefield 4's existence isn't a surprise. EA announced last summer that Medal of Honor: Warfighter pre-order customers will get access to B4's beta. The beta is slated to begin this fall.
The mystery EA event will occur on March 26th. A copy of the invitation is below for your inspection.
