BloodRayne: Betrayal Flaming New Screenshots

New screenshots have been released for the upcoming side-scrolling, blood-soaked, action packed, hack-and-slash title BloodRayne: Betrayal. The new screenshots are a little indistinguishable with all the green goop and blood spraying everywhere, save for a guy who is set on fire running down a hallway on flames.
The game revives the once iconic female anti-hero who was royally butchered by Uwe Boll, making the name BloodRayne a bane to the ears of anyone who heard it. Majesco is hoping that Boll’s movie has finally been forgotten by most gamers so that the franchise can get back on track and maybe they can start making money off the BloodRayne name again.
Majesco certainly seems to be on the right track with a Castlevania style approach to the series with intense, non-stop action and challenging platforming puzzles to overcome. I’m definitely curious to see how the game turns out in the finished product. You can check out the new screenshots below or keep an eye out for BloodRayne: Betrayal to land on the Xbox Live Arcade beginning August 31st and on the PSN starting August 30th.
