Borderlands 2 players will not have to wait long to get access to the game's fifth character class. Gearbox Software revealed today that they'll releasing the Mechromancer DLC pack in mid-October.
The Mechromancer is a redheaded cyborg gal named Gaige. Her main gimmick is summoning a giant robot called D374-TP. That fact by itself should make her a popular choice among gamers.
Players can get this character class for free by being a Borderlands 2 Premiere Club member. Premiere Club membership is giving to anyone who pre-orders the game through participating retailers. You can check if your preferred retailer is offering the DLC by consulting the Borderlands 2 website.
The Mechromancer will be available for download on October 16th. If you didn't pre-order, you'll have to pay $9.99 or 800 MS Points to download it.
