Today Gearbox Software revealed new details about Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, the second story-based DLC for Borderlands 2. In this new adventure, players will attempt to unlock a new Vault on Pandora.
The Vault can only be opened by Pandora's "bravest warrior." Mr. Torgue, the head of the arms manufacturer Torgue, has decided to hold a tournament to determine who this champion will be. To compete, players will need to travel to the Badass Crater of Badassitude.
In the arena matches, players will have to fight against waves of enemies. They'll also have to fend off other Vault Hunters who have also entered the competition. Players will earn a mountain of loot and experience for their efforts.
Gearbox will also be adding new items for you to earn. Vending machines will carry high-quality Torgue weapons. You can only buy them with Torgue Tokens, which can be earned by completing missions or prying them from enemies' cold dead fingers.
Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage will be released on November 20th. It will cost $9.99 to download. You could also buy the $29.99 Season Pass and get access to all four DLC packs as they're released.
