The free weekend will run until Sunday at 1 PM Pacific Time. At that point, you'll need to buy the game to keep playing. If you decide to make the purchase, you can get the game at a 25% discount. This price drop only lasts until Monday at 10 AM Pacific, though.
If you've gotten tired of Call of Duty's multiplayer over the past few years, I'd recommend giving Advanced Warfare a shot. The futuristic gadgets at players' disposal shake up the usual routine. The exoskeletons are particularly great, giving players the ability to leap over buildings, become invisible or withstand heavy gunfire. This forces you to play AW different than any previous game in the series. If you don't like that, there's always the classic playlist that turns off the exos.
Steam also has two other games on sale this weekend. Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux, the remakes of 4A's post-apocalyptic shooters, can be purchased at 50% off. These discounts bring the games down to $12.49 apiece until Monday.

In these single-player-only adventures, you travel through a post-disaster Moscow filled with mutants and violent factions of soldiers. The remakes feature updated visuals along with all the DLC released for the original versions. The games' mixture of stealth, action and horror made them some of the most pleasant surprises of this past generation.
Should you hate all these options, just hang tight. Steam's big Winter Sale is set to launch next week.
