Call of Duty: Black Ops had a record launch day and it seems the rest of their week went pretty well, too. Activision has announced the game set a five-day worldwide sell-through record.
Black Ops racked up more than $650 million in those opening days. They beat the previous record of $550 million by quite a bit. The game that had set the previous record was COD: Modern Warfare 2.
The game apparently set two Xbox Live records as well. On launch day, more than 5.9 million multiplayer hours were logged in the game by over 2.6 million gamers.
