Activision delivered a new trailer for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 tonight as promised. If you were hoping for some in-game footage, you're about to get plenty of it.
Remember those "America," "France," "England," and "Germany" teaser trailers Activision released a week back? Well, what this trailer does is show you actual gameplay from each of those locations. Every country's been turned into a warzone and you're in the thick of it.
If you played any recent Call of Duty games, this trailer's not going to show you anything you haven't seen before, though. The on-foot combat is mixed with some door gunner action on a helicopter, a motorboat driving sequence, and - oh yes - some AC130 rail shooting. The trailer's not intended to break down new features, though. It's just intended to be really flashy and get you psyched up. If you're a fan of the series, it probably will succeed on that front.
The end of the trailer confirms that Modern Warfare 3 will be released on November 8th. The COD website, meanwhile, is now taking pre-orders for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
