Firaxis Games has announced a new strategy game for mobile devices. The Civilization and XCOM: Enemy Unknown studio will be releasing Haunted Hollow for iOS this spring.
Haunted Hollow lets players manage their own haunted home. They build up the mansion and then send off monsters to terrorize the town. Their armies of vampires, zombies and other creatures will have to evade angry mobs of townsfolk while carrying out their mission.
Meanwhile, players will also have to contend with rival haunted houses. These rivals, controlled by A.I. or other players, are also trying to dominate the town. Monster armies can battle head-to-head, giving players incentive to keep upgrading their creatures.
The game will be free-to-play with optional microtransactions. Players will be able to spend money in order to unlock new types of monsters. The game offers different types of haunted mansions, so perhaps players can buy new architectural styles as well.
