CCP Games has released a new trailer for their PS3 multiplayer shooter DUST 514. The trailer focuses on the interaction between Dust 514 and CCP Games' other MMO EVE Online.
In DUST 514, players are mercenaries battling for control of planets. These planets also exist within the EVE Online universe. The outcome of these battles, therefore, affects EVE players as well.
EVE Online players aren't just spectators of the action in DUST. Pilots in EVE can bombard the battle from orbit. The trailer shows a DUST 514 player calling in the airstrike and racking up points from all the kills.
The beta for DUST 514 launched in January. The shooter is free to download and play through PSN.
