The Darkness II Co-op Modes Revealed And Detailed

2K Games has taken the next step in evolving The Darkness franchise, including the now standard-fare co-op modes that enables up to four players to unleash the fury of the darkness in brand new game modes.
As stated in the press release...
Interwoven into key points of Jackie's single-player narrative, Vendettas expands the universe of The Darkness II by branching off into unique, parallel missions, while connecting thematically to the core single-player story arc. Four players can collectively immerse themselves in the lore of The Darkness II, and explore a variety of environments not found in the main story. Adding to the destruction and mayhem, Vendettas will also feature a new Hit List mode, which allows players to repeat their favorite campaign moments or wreak havoc in brand new scenarios.
Gamers will take on the roles of four new characters, each with their own unique powers. Inugami is a samurai-sword wielding maniac out for revenge against The Brotherhood, his powers include unleashing miniature demons on foes.
Shoshanna is the second playable character, an agent of the Israeli Intelligence Agency and sent to wipe out the Brotherhood using her darkness-imbued gun.
Jimmy Wilson is an English hater and hails from Glasgow, Scotland. He wields a battle axe drenched in the power of the darkness and has little demons to help fight alongside him as well.
J.P. Dumond is a Voodoo doctor aiming to combat the Brotherhood and prevent them from retrieving ancient artifacts. He has the ability to summon a vortex formed out of dark energy that can crush and mutilate any and everything caught in its midst.
The Darkness II is scheduled to release no February 7th, 2012 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in North America and February 10th internationally. You can learn more about the game by paying a visit to the Official Website.
