Today EA confirmed the obvious: Dead Space 2 is getting a sequel. They also provided some information on the game's plot and gameplay.
The sequel to the 2008 action-horror game once again stars engineer-turned-bad-ass Isaac Clarke. This time he's "taking the fight to the Necromorphs" and will be new weapons to slice and dice them with. EA also promises "epic Zero-G environments."
Like its predecessor, DS2 will appear on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. There's no mention of whether the rumors of a 2010 release or multiplayer are accurate.
