EA is about to release a new trailer for Dead Space 2. However, someone else beat them to the punch.
PSU, citing "internet sources", says that the trailer was leaked a day early. The production quality suggests it's legit. Not really much incentive for faking teaser trailers, especially if they reveal nothing controversial.
The visual style of the trailer is familiar, too. It shows an animated ink blot picture with brief gameplay snippets appearing in the ink pools. DS2 developer Visceral Games sent Blend Games an inkblot photo yesterday, presumably a hint that this new trailer was set to arrive.
DS2 is expected between January 1st and March 31st of next year. EA said in the past that it's going to be released for consoles and handhelds. A PC version is "under consideration". The trailer doesn't clear up that matter one way or the other.
