Visceral Games is continuing the trend of releasing enormous gameplay videos for Dead Space 3. This latest video, weighing in at 17 minutes, gives a continuous look at a section of the single-player campaign.
The preview takes place on the Eudora, a ship apparently in orbit of Tau Volantis. Tau Volantis, an icy planet infested by Necromorphs, will be the primary setting for the game. It's nice to see that Visceral worked in some opportunities for zero-G gameplay as well, though.
Dead Space 3 has the overall appearance of a co-op shooter. However, this particular video seems more like classic DS. Isaac is on his own and navigating through the darkened bowels of the ship. He's ambushed by Necromorphs at every turn and has to use a combination of melee and ranged attacks to fend off the enemies in these close quarters.
DS3 is expected to arrive in February.
