High Moon Studios' Deadpool game will be out in June, according to the latest announcement from Activision. If you're feeling brave and want to pre-order the game, you can collect some nice bonus content.
Amazon will provide a digital wallpaper and digital cover sleeve. They're throwing in $5 of Amazon credit as well. This credit can only be used toward select Marvel graphic novels, though, so it's not much of an incentive if you don't like comic books. However, if you don't like comic books, why are buying a Deadpool game in the first place?
GameStop and EB Games are offering a "Merc with a Map Pack" DLC pack. This DLC provides two new maps (GRT Plaza, Inside the Tower) to the game's challenge mode. It also unlocks two costumes for the Infinite mode. Additionally, customers in the U.S. will receive a digital wallpaper if they're PowerUp Rewards members.
The GameStop location with the most pre-orders will also host a midnight launch party. The event will be paid for by Activision. A dude wearing a Deadpool costume will be there, apparently.
Deadpool will arrive on June 25th on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
