Destiny Teaser Trailer Discusses The Law Of The Jungle
E3 is so close we can practically taste it. But if you're having trouble waiting on the main course, then perhaps you'd be interested in a light appetizer? A new teaser for Destiny, perhaps?
Part live action, part CG, the latest trailer for Destiny introduces viewers to “The Law of the Jungle.” In it, Gustavo Fring appears to have given up the meth business in order to raise a family and read bedtime stories to his children. This, of course, assumes that Destiny and Breaking Bad take place within the same universe and, in my world, that is absolutely the case. And just for some extra “Oh,wow, really?” factor, the above teaser just so happens to be directed by Jon Favreau.
It's a short teaser, which is probably why they even bother to call it a “teaser” in the first place. Otherwise it would just be a new trailer and I wouldn't be ranting quite so long. But what's really important about this minute-and-a-half clip is that it lets us know when the next highly anticipated Destiny trailer will be making an appearance.
According to a message at the end of the teaser, as well as a statement on the PlayStation Blog, the next look at the latest game from the team at Bungie will come during Sony's E3 press conference on June 10. We don't know a whole heck of a lot about Destiny up to this point other than the fact that it takes place in a living, persistent world, players will take on the role of space-age soldiers known as Guardians, and we're going to get to shoot lots and lots of aliens.
For the next course, tune into the Sony E3 press conference in just a couple of weeks.
