Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned gamer, Diablo 3 should be able to offer you a challenge. The action RPG will ship with four difficulty levels, which are detailed in a new trailer released by Blizzard.
The four difficulty levels are Normal, Nightmare, Hell, and Inferno. Normal is described as "pretty casual." However, your enemies' strength will ramp up significantly in the higher difficulties. You'll need to invest in your defensive stats so that you can survive the damage that the monsters can inflict.
Playing co-op won't necessarily make the game easier, either. You'll need to work as a team in order to succeed. One of the devs in the video mentions wiping for an hour on one boss.
Inferno difficulty is actually a brand-new difficulty level. It's aimed at players who have hit the level cap of 60. You'll be well-compensated for your anguish in Inferno, though; this mode will allow you to earn exclusive, powerful equipment for your character.
Blizzard announced yesterday that Diablo 3 will arrive in spring or early summer.
