Nippon Ichi Software released the first full-length trailer for strategy RPG Disgaea Dimension 2 today. The game, a direct sequel to Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, will star fan favorite characters as well as some brand new faces.
Laharl, Etna and Flonne will all return for Dimension 2. They're not just making cameos. It seems like they're the main playable characters.
The brown-haired girl with the looped hairstyle is Sicily, who claims to be the sister of Laharl. Other new faces in the cast include Barbara and Xenoris. It's not clear what role those two characters play. However, Sicily seems to be the main antagonist. She's looking to overthrow Laharl and become Overlord of the Netherworld.
Dimension 2 is being developed exclusively for the PS3. It'll make its debut in Japan on March 20th.
