DmC: Devil May Cry Easter Egg Has New Dante Making Fun Of Old Dante
Do you like that sexy emo beast in the new DmC: Devil May Cry? Well, of course you do because he's the new hotness and not the old hotness. In fact, Ninja Theory wanted to rub in the fact that new Dante is so cool and so beastly that they decided to have him make fun of the old Dante in a quick Easter egg.
The video has slowly been making the rounds ahead of the official launch of the title tomorrow for the Xbox 360 and PS3. So what does the video entail? Well it's only 17 seconds but it's enough to cause brows to furrow, perceptions to become distorted and the deep bellowing rage encased within the thick bellies of old-school DmC fans to form, mutate and explode in a fit of eye-bursting QQ'ing. Check it out below.
Oh, burn on old Dante.
“Not in a million years.”
I'm sure old-school fans are saying the same thing as they scoff at the new-school Dante and his dandy attire as they pass by the game and instead buy a collectible case of My Little Pony just to show their spite towards Ninja Theory and Capcom. And with that, all bridges connecting the old and the new have been burned.
If DmC: Devil May Cry appeals to your rebellious sense of adventure and you like watching demons get killed, have sex and throw around more F-bombs than a Quentin Tarantino film, then you can pick up a copy of the game for the Xbox 360 or PS3...or if you're still undecided, feel free to check out Gaming Blend's own review of Capcom's latest title.
