Double Dragon Neon Now Available For Xbox 360, PS3
Majesco Entertainment and Wayforward Games has announced that Double Dragon Neon for the Xbox 360 and PS3 has officially launched, digitally, for both home consoles. The game features classic beat-e'm-up action combined with new-school graphics and gameplay mechanics as players join Billy and Jimmy Lee (and not Bimmy from Double Dragon 2) in their quest to defeat the new evil known as Skullmageddon.
The game sees players picking up some old-school bro-op and playing with a buddy either locally or online as you battle hordes of face-punch-worthy punks, big bad bosses and exercise your right to badassery.
Heck, if you're really geeked about Double Dragon Neon, just remember to watch the TV show's entrance so that you can feel extra pumped as you hand out fisticuffs beatdowns and groin-kick parades.
Man, that brings back some bad memories. It also reminds us that back then intros could afford to be longer than 10 seconds before zipping off to a commercial for natural male enhancement.
Anyway, the game sports all the awesome 1980s themes, complete with cyber-trash settings, acid-wash aesthetics and music video settings where it leaves you questioning “What part of town is that, really?”
You can pick up the beat-e'm-up right now, digitally, for the Xbox 360 or PS3, either for 800 MS Points or $9.99 from the PlayStation Store. You can check out a legit gameplay video below or visit the Official Website to learn more.
