Dragon Ball Z: Raging Blast Japanese Trials Gameplay Trailer

I’m no big fan of DBZ games these days considering that alongside Naruto games there are just too many of them to keep track of. Not to mention that many of these games are replicas of their predecessors, with the same old recycled content. However, I must admit that DBZ: Raging Blast looks pretty kick-butt and the new seven minute trailer featuring some survival encounters is definitely worth watching.
The entire trailer is in Japanese but the gameplay is all that matters. Much like previous iterations in the Namco series of Dragon Ball Z fighting games, the combat still consists of standard-fare combos and special attacks. What makes this game slightly more engaging is that the fighting is streamlined, the camera work is tightly constructed and the visual effects are far more reminiscent to the television show.
One of the main problems of the previous games was that the fighting acted so bleak and boring when special moves weren’t being used, but in Raging Blast the normal fighting actually looks good and the exchange and pace of the fights are quite entertaining.
You can check out the new Japanese trailer below for DBZ: Raging Blast. The game is due out in North America on November 10th for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. For more info feel free to visit the Official Website.
