Dragon Quest series creator Yuji Horii has broken his silence regarding the tenth installment in the series. In the April issue of Nintendo Power, he revealed that Dragon Quest X's development is actually wrapping up.
"All we can say is that development is going well and we're on the last parts of the game," said Horii (via Joystiq). "We can't really share much else at this point, but by the end of this year we should be able to announce something regarding it."
DQX is being developed for the Wii. That might be seem odd considering the enormous success of DQIX on the DS. However, Horii said that he felt "some users will want to play Dragon Quest on the big screen."
